Happy Cinco De Mayo! If celebrating tonight, please take measures to ensure you make it home safe tonight.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced two sobriety checkpoints for Knox County in the month of May. The first is announced for May 12, 2017 at “S.R. 162 (Hardin Valley Exit) @ Schaffer [Road].” The second is announced for May 26, 2017 at “Cherokee Trail @ Cherokee Bluff Drive.” For the complete list of announced THP Checkpoints for May, click here. Please keep in mind that this is not necessarily an exhaustive list, especially as it is only the announced list of the THP and not other policing agencies.
